The recent cases of malpractices in the Kingdom, will also help in encouraging these professionals to buy insurance. Only selected few are offering this type of policy. The policy should be reasonably priced and since the policy is "claims made policy", it is important that in-order the policy to be effective, it should be continuous. Changing insurer's mid-term will jeopardize the claim. The Companies offering MM insurance should come to an agreement to give the benefit of continuous insurance if the insured changes the insurer. Like Motor Insurance, MM Insurance should give the required peace of mind to the doctors.
